FAQ

Have questions about how NSI can help you? From qualifications and licensing requirements to relocation and referral bonuses, you’ll find answers to the most popular questions below.

Why Choose NSI?
NSI is a full-service recruitment and retention company. We contract only with clients that meet our high standards of excellence. With our red-carpet/white-glove treatment you will enjoy a personal recruiter, added recruitment incentives and immediate interview feedback all provided at no cost to you, the nurse.

Am I qualified for an opportunity through NSI?
If you are an RN with at least one year of US nursing experience, there may be an opportunity for you! Please complete the online application or call us at 1-866-RN BONUS or 1-866-BONUS 4U and a call center representative will discuss specific opportunities available.

How do I get started?
It’s easy. If you choose to apply online, a call center representative will contact you within 24 business hours to verify your basic information and discuss the opportunity. If you would like to contact us by telephone, NSI can be reached by calling toll free 1-866-RN BONUS or 1-866-BONUS 4U. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Eastern Standard Time.

Following a brief discussion and information exchange you could be scheduled for an in-depth telephonic interview with one of the NSI recruiters. Based upon the outcome of that discussion you could be invited to interview on-site at the hospital.

What if I am interested in interviewing at the hospital?
If you are invited to interview at the hospital, your personal recruiter will walk you through the next steps of the interview process including: travel, directions, application process, documentation needed, requirements, etc.

During the hospital interview, you will meet the nurse manager or designee for your particular specialty. You will have the opportunity to learn about unit-specific information such as scheduling, shifts, ratios, etc. and tour the unit.

Finally, a human resource representative will be available to meet with you to answer any questions you may have regarding salary, benefits and employment information.

When should I expect to receive a decision from the hospital?
In most cases, your personal recruiter will provide immediate feedback following the interview. During this time, pay, benefits, relocation and start dates are also discussed.

Whose employee am I?
Should you accept a position, you will be a core staff employee of the healthcare facility that NSI is representing, not an employee of NSI Nursing Solutions, Inc.

If I am not able to start right away, should I still apply to NSI?
Yes. We will collect your information and place you in our database. By doing this, we can inform you about opportunities when you are ready to make the transition.

How do I apply for licensure in the state of the proposed position?
Your personal recruiter from NSI Nursing Solutions, Inc. will help you through the licensure procedure for the specific state of interest.

Is there Relocation Assistance?
Yes. Your personal recruiter will provide you with specific relocation information at the time of your telephonic interview.

Is there a Referral Bonus?
Yes. NSI offers a $500 bonus for referring an eligible nurse and you can refer as many as you wish. Simply have your colleague call NSI at 1-866-BONUS 4U (1-866-266-8748). During this call, they must state that they were referred by you and provide your address and telephone number. Once the RN is hired through NSI Nursing Solutions and completes their incentive agreement, a check for $500 will be mailed to you.

We look forward to helping you find a new and rewarding career.
